International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) represents approximately 750,000 members who work in a wide variety of fields, including utilities, construction, telecommunications, broadcasting, manufacturing, railroads and government. The IBEW has members in both the United States and Canada and stands out among the American unions in the AFL-CIO because it is among the largest and has members in so many skilled occupations.

National Fire Protection Association

The mission of the international nonprofit NFPA, established in 1896, is to reduce the worldwide burden of fire and other hazards on the quality of life by providing and advocating consensus codes and standards, research, training, and education. The world's leading advocate of fire prevention and an authoritative source on public safety, NFPA develops, publishes, and disseminates more than 300 consensus codes and standards intended to minimize the possibility and effects of fire and other risks.

The MDT Disadvantaged Business

Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts. It is a federally funded program administered by MDT. In order to participate in federally funded contracts under the DBE Program, they must first be certified thru the MDT DBE Program. MDT is the only DBE certifying agent in the state of Montana. The MDT DBE Program Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the MDT DBE Program, such as certification, compliance of federal and state laws, DBE Supportive Services, etc.
